Our Land Owner Clientele utilize us for wetlands determinations as part of the process for conducting construction activities on their sites or as part of the process for establishing a mitigation bank. In order to determine the potential impact to wetlands from a proposed project, Heritage conducts wetland delineations, which are part of the process to secure a Jurisdictional Determination (JD) for the Corps of Engineers. Our wetland delineations thoroughly evaluate soils, vegetation, and hydrology on site follow the USACE 1987 Wetland Delineation Manual and subsequent Regulatory Guidance Letters. All results are compiled into a Wetland Data Report containing narratives, wetland maps, data sheets, and a photo appendix. Wetlands determinations are the first step in determining if a site is suitable for a Wetlands Mitigation Bank. Wetland determinations are also an essential tool for project planning in order to minimize wetland impacts, associated construction delays and mitigation costs. Our team includes some of the foremost experts in wetlands consulting with thousands of determinations completed throughout the gulf coast.
